Hospital Leadership Changes

Nexus welcomes two new hospital managers to the group – Jenny Furness as GM / DON at Insight Private Hospital, and Angie Arnold as CEO / DON at Southbank Day Surgery.

At the same time we farewell Deb Van de Stadt, General Manager / DON at Insight Private Hospital. Deb joined Insight in 2007, in the early planning stages of what would become Insight Private Hospital as we know it today. Deb was integral to developing the clinical pathways for the new operating theatres, underpinning the high standards to which the hospital performs. Deb’s respectful leadership style has been instrumental in creating the close-knit team that has made Insight Private such an important part of caring for the Albury-Wodonga community.

Jenny Furness has taken over the General Manager / DON position at Insight Private, joining us from Albury Base Hospital, where she managed the Perioperative and Services division, a leadership position across the Perioperative and Surgical stream. Jenny is ably supported by Anna Stepowany, who has also recently joined Insight Private Hospital as the Theatre Nurse Unit Manager.  Anna has a post-graduate certificate in Perioperative Nursing and is passionate about everything to do with perioperative nursing!

We also welcome Angie Arnold to her new role as Director of Nursing at our Southbank and Sundew Day surgeries. Angie, who joined us as CEO / DON of Sundew Day Surgery in June, has over 20 years’ nursing experience in both military and civilian environments, and holds a Diploma in Education and a Masters Degree in Nursing.

Jenny and Angie join our existing team of highly qualified and passionate hospital managers, and we are proud to continue to attract such high calibre candidates to the group.
