With over 22 years of experience across nursing, patient safety, leadership, and private healthcare management, Penelope brings a wealth of expertise and passion to her role as Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Clinical Governance at Nexus Hospitals. Her career includes more than eight years in senior executive roles across private hospitals and aged care, where she has been instrumental in shaping high-performing clinical teams and advancing quality standards.
A registered nurse and midwife, Penelope holds a Master of Medical and Health Law, a Master of Health Administration and Leadership, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She also serves as the Victorian Practitioner Member on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, contributing national insight into professional standards and practitioner regulation.

Outside of work, Penelope enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active through pilates, weight training, and golf, and nurturing her love for learning, travel, and cooking.
