Credentialing
If you are interested in operating at Bondi Junction Private Hospital, you are welcome to book in a tour of our facilities and we will discuss potential operating session times with you. We will then send you the BJPH Credentialing Application Form, and request your:
- AHPRA Registration
- Indemnity insurance Certificate
- CV
- Three references
- Working with Children Check (WWC)
Our Director of Nursing will check your references and present all documents to the Bondi Junction Private Hospital Medical Advisory Committee representative. You will be provided with temporary accreditation until your application has been reviewed by the committee.
Following approval at the next Medical Advisory Committee meeting, full privileges can be granted for a 3-year term.
Hospital by-laws
All Nexus Hospitals operate under By-laws approved by the Nexus Hospitals Board. These By-laws empower medical staff to give assurance of quality hospital medical care.
The By-laws outline the management policies approved by the Board, and document
- the Terms of Reference for the Bondi Junction Private Hospital Medical Advisory Committee
- the process of accrediting practitioners at Bondi Junction Private Hospital and defining their scope of practice
- the obligations on accredited practitioners in relation to the safety and the quality of care of patients, and include those relating to patient privacy, open disclosure, infection control and reporting, and medical research
- the expected conduct of accredited practitioners at Bondi Junction Private Hospital.

Operating Theatre Nurses (Scrub / Scout)
Bondi Junction Private Hospital is a boutique private hospital providing outstanding clinical care for day surgery and overnight admissions. We specialise in ENT, Plastics, Cosmetics, Ophthalmic & General surgery procedures and are currently recruiting!

We are seeking outstanding, highly skilled Endorsed Enrolled or Registered Nurses to join our small cohesive team with permanent part-time or a full time contracts available. A variety of shifts in specialised areas are available for immediate start
The successful applicants must possess:
- Unconditional APHRA registration and have full working rights in Australia.
- A minimum of 12 months experience in Perioperative (Anaesthetics, or Scrub/Scout or Recovery) Nursing
- A demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and ongoing education
- A professional demeanour with a can do attitude
- The ability to work well within a fast paced environment and in a cohesive team
Previous experience working in day or small private hospital setting is desirable but not essential.
