- Current Medical Indemnity Insurance Policy
- Current AHPRA Registration
- CV with 3 Referees
- Evidence of 100 points of ID
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- Signed Copy of the Code of Conduct Policy
- Completed Immunization Statement
- Signed VMO Credentialing Policy
Medical Advisory Committee
Our Director of Nursing will check your references and present all documents to the Insight Private Hospital Medical Advisory Committee (MAC). The MAC Chairman may grant temporary approval pending ratification by the MAC at their next meeting, at which full privileges can be granted for a period of one year. Privileges will then be reviewed, and a further five years granted. Privileges are reviewed thereafter at five year intervals.
All Nexus Hospitals operate under By-laws approved by the Nexus Hospitals Board. These By-laws empower medical staff to give assurance of quality hospital medical care.
The By-laws outline the management policies approved by the Board, and document
- the Terms of Reference for the Insight Private Hospital Medical Advisory Committee
- the process of accrediting practitioners at Insight Private Hospital and defining their scope of practice
- the obligations on accredited practitioners in relation to the safety and the quality of care of patients, and include those relating to patient privacy, open disclosure, infection control and reporting, and medical research
- the expected conduct of accredited practitioners at Insight Private Hospital.

Our goal is to ensure every aspect of your practice management and patient care is seamless and we will work with your practice manager to ensure our processes can be integrated into their workflows. We encourage your staff to visit our hospital to see and experience your patient journey first hand.
On your first day with us, you’ll be given a comprehensive tour of all the facilities and introduced to our staff. We will also work with you to configure aspects of our operating theatres to suit your procedures and preferences.
